our mission
Our Mission is to ensure that each child is provided a safe and nurturing Christian environment, where he or she can develop both socially and cognitively. Each child is considered unique and special for his or her qualities and talents. At St. Paul's Preschool, the teachers foster children's individuality by offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum using literature, music, dramatic play and the arts to stimulate learning. Ultimately, our goal is for each child to develop a love of learning.
Children participate in a weekly preschool church service each Tuesday morning, which we call Chapel, led by our priest, Fr Dallman. We also offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd ("CGS") for preschool children. If you would like to find out more information about CGS for your child, go to this page. Our teachers strive to make every day full of wonder and build upon the natural curiosity of our students. Every child is eager to discover and learn; we take this opportunity to heart. Each day is filled with emergent reading and writing skills, early math skills, science and social studies fun, creative art and music; all while sharing our love of the Lord! We offer a structured class atmosphere with a balance of teacher directed activities and child directed play. Our school implements The Creative Curriculum & Second Step Character Development Curriculum; along with offering a computer class through Compuchild Technology Education and ballet classes with Ms. Courtenay. |
