Our parish is committed to traditional and biblical Christian formation within the English/Anglican expression of orthodox-catholic Christian faith "which was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3). Our current formation and service opportunities open to those who regularly worship with us are:
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (for children ages 3-9): Sundays 9-10:30 am. For more information, click here. Daughters of the King. Order of Saint Luke the Physician. Advent Worship and Study: Each Sunday in Advent we have 5 pm Evensong, followed by a meal in the parish hall. After the meal, Fr Dallman offers teaching until 7:30 pm. This year's study topic was: One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic: Understanding the Anglican/Episcopal Tradition. Lent Worship and Study: Every Friday in Lent we have 5 pm plainsong Evensong, with Stations of the Cross and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a community meal, after which Fr Dallman offers an hour of reflection on a particular aspect of Christian faith. This year's topic is Icons and the Incarnation of Christ. It is both an introduction to praying with Icons and, through them, meditations on Christ’s Incarnation Summer Book Study: Fr Dallman leads a book study on Christian discipleship on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of June, July, and August. Everything starts with 8 am Matins and 9 am Mass (with preaching), followed by the book discussion at 10 am. This summer's book has yet to be determined. Adult Bible Study: Sundays 8:45 am-10 am Adult Bible Study: Thursdays 11 am - Noon Canterbury Pilgrimage: Foundations in Anglican Spirituality, which gives an introduction to Christian spirituality and prayer within the Anglican/Episcopal tradition. |
